What Is My Collection Day?

Wheelie bin collections started 1 July

Enter your address in the search bar (top-right) of the SmartMap below to find out your collection day.

You’ll also find out if you are in collection group ‘Week One’ or ‘Week Two'. Each collection day is split in two: one group has waste collected and the other group has recycling. The following week will be the opposite, and so on.

Print your own calendar

Print your own copy of the kerbside collection calendar or collect a copy at your closest MDC Service Centre.

Alerts on your phone

We recommend downloading the Antenno App to receive kerbside collection alerts for your area.

All you need to do is install the app from the App Store or Google Play and save places you care about, such as your home, work, rental property or school. Antenno will notify you when something relevant to your chosen place(s) arises.

Public holidays

From 1 July 2024, kerbside collection waste or recycling will be picked up on public holidays except Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day. On these days collection will take place the following day. This means everyone’s collection day moves to the next day.

Remember – ‘if in doubt, leave it out’.
