Transfer Stations
Several transfer stations are operating in Marlborough. Information on each transfer station including location and opening hours can be found below by scrolling down.
Waste collected at transfer stations is transported to the Bluegums landfill.

Recycling collected at the transfer stations is transported to the Resource Recovery Centre.

When visiting a transfer station with your refuse, please bring your own shovel, rake or broom for unloading the rubbish from your trailer.
Transfer stations run a user pays model so dump fees apply.
All transfer stations accept Cash, Eftpos, Credit and Debit Cards.

To open an account at the Marlborough District Council Transfer Station or at the Bluegums Landfill Site.

Blenheim (Waste Sorting Centre)
Entrance via George Conroy Drive, off Taylor Pass Road.

Havelock
Located on Queen Charlotte Drive next to the Kaituna River.

Picton
Located on Gravesend Place near the start of Queen Charlotte Drive.

Rai Valley
Located on Ronga Road, 1.6km from the SH6 turn off, just before the Ronga River bridge.

Seddon
The Seddon Transfer Station is located just north of the Seddon township, at the rear of the golf course.

Wairau Valley
Located at the end of Church Lane at the township.
