The following operative plan change has been made to the Wairau Awatere Resource Management Plan and has been incorporated into the Plan.
The proposed plan change is to amend the Wairau/Awatere Resource Management Plan by rezoning the area from Rural 3 to Urban Residential 2 to facilitate the residential development of the site. An indicative road layout is provided for the zoned land. This area is located between Old Renwick Road and Middle Renwick Road (SH 6). Adjoined by Rene Street and the Westwood retail area on its western boundary - 44.6 hectares.
