How much does a certificate of acceptance cost?

Fees for a Certificate of Acceptance will include the following:
- An application fee is required for either minor or full. (Must be paid at the time the application is submitted)
- Additional application and planning fees are applied to full COAs and will be invoiced prior to issuing.
- Processing fee for Certificate of Acceptance plus 1.7% of the value of the work.
- Inspection fees and travel to inspections required during the processing procedure.
- DBH and BRANZ levies if they apply.
- Plus all fees that would have been payable had a building consent been obtained. (Note: This may include charging for additional processing hours after the second request for further information has been requested.)
