Murphys Creek Water Quality Monitoring
On 2 October a continuous water quality monitoring station was installed on Murphys Creek near the Nelson Street culvert.
Four sensors have been put in place, along with a flow recording device. The water quality sensors monitor dissolved oxygen (concentration and percent saturation), water temperature, turbidity, and conductivity.
Measurements are made at 15 minute intervals and are transmitted by telemetry to computer servers at Marlborough District Council.
