A new walking path has been installed at the Tirimoana Recreation Reserve, that guides the user through the reserve starting at the Tirimoana Terrace entrance connecting to Thompson Place.
The project was a long-held aspiration of the Tirimoana and Annikiwa Residents Association (TARA).
The path leads the user along the reserve near the stream, over an existing bridge, and through a grove of kowhai trees. This area has now been barked and the addition of picnic tables built by Havelock Menz Shed has greatly enhanced the area.
