Flood damage repair works have been completed in the Upper Wairau on the north side near Pine Valley. Two sites required attention. Gravel was beached against an eroded bank with a dozer.
Additional emergency repairs were required near Giffords Road following some recent freshes in the river. Final completion of 2021 and 2022 flood damage repairs is awaiting on rock supply.
Contracts are being drawn up for work on the Wairau Diversion and areas between SH1 and Waihopai confluence.
