Town Branch Upgrade
A contract was tendered in February for widening and upgrades of a 650m length of Abattoir Drain from the DeCastro subdivision to Town Branch pump station. The contract includes partial piping of Railway Drain and construction of three bridges.
The tender was won by Findlater Construction Limited and the works began in mid-March. The works are expected to be completed by the end of September, weather permitting.
The contractor has mobilised to site, commenced excavation for the realigned section of drain and is preparing materials and dewatering resources for culvert construction.
