Blenheim (Waste Sorting Centre)
The Blenheim Transfer Station is known as the Waste Sorting Centre and include the greenwaste collection facility. The entrance is from George Conroy Drive and is a user pays facility. The fees are calculated per tonne.
All acceptable items are listed below with the relevant fees.
You will be required to sort your waste into the appropriate bins at this facility to ensure we are maximising diversion from the landfill. As listed below there are differing prices for different types of waste. If you are bringing a mixed load into this facility ie: General waste/Greenwaste/hardfill, to ensure you are charged fairly, we recommend that you separate the differing types of waste on your vehicle. You can then deposit one type of waste, Travel across the exit weighbridge, pay for it at that rate then deposit the other waste items. This will require you to complete a lap of the facility for each waste type.
All recycling is to be taken to the Recourse Recovery Centre
