Untreated timber can be recycled at the Greenwaste Acceptance Facility in Blenheim, providing it is free from nails or wire. The Salvage Yard in Blenheim may also take this material if it is reusable and be sold on.

Metals - redundant machinery
Local scrapyards will be able to assist with the collection of this type of material. The normal protocol would be to drain out all oils, fuels and lubricants and dispose of them separately as Hazardous Waste.
Tyres - ex silage weighting down
Tyres can be recycled, however, they need to be clean ie; free from dirt or standing water.

Netwrap can be recycled via a national product stewardship scheme known as Plasback.
The recycling markets for this material are volatile and from time to time you may find that collections are not economically viable.

This material can be delivered to the nearest transfer station or collected via one of the private skip companies operating in Marlborough.
