Aquatic Centre

The Aquatic Centre is more than just a pool; it's a leisure destination with facilities for the whole family, year-round.

Indoors, a 25 metre lane pool provides plenty of room for those wanting to work on their fitness. A separate leisure pool is a great place for families to relax. There's plenty specifically for the kids too, with toddlers' pools and a lazy river offering hours of fun.

A sauna, steam room and a special spa/hydrotherapy pool offer opportunities for relaxation.

Some existing features from the original Aquatic Centre have been upgraded. The learners' pool was given a fresh, new look and the indoor pool has been revamped into a 25 metre, six lane lap pool.

Outdoors is a four lane 25 metre lap pool and a children's 0-depth area that caters to the youngest family members.

Numerous swim classes and other programmes are run at the centre, catering for all ages and fitness levels. It is run by a community trust on behalf of Council.
