In accordance with the Navigation Bylaws, Clause 3.2. & 3.11, Picton inner harbour (highlighted zone in figure 1&2) is temporarily reserved and has a temporarily speed bylaw uplifting for Rarangi Surf Lifesaving Club Maritime Festival Demonstration and Hopai sports event.

Rarangi Surf Lifesaving Club Maritime Festival Demonstration
20 January 2025
From 10.30 am till 3.30 pm

In the above instance, for safety reasons, during this time, unauthorised vessels and persons are requested to keep clear of the reserved area as directed by events officials.
