SVIS Messages via Antenno App
We now have a new way of keeping you in touch with Southern Valleys Irrigation Scheme (SVIS) updates.
We'll be using an app called Antenno, which is free to download.
It's easy to get started; no personal information or login details are required. Simply download the Antenno app, then enter an address for a property that you want SVIS updates for - it could be your home, a family member's home, a rental property or even your workplace. You can enter as many properties as you need to.
When we have an update, we'll send it via Antenno. You don't have to keep checking; Antenno will notify you of an update using your phone's notification settings.
If there is an SVIS notification that isn't relevant to a property you've entered into the app, you won't receive an alert. This is different to the text system, where you receive all alerts for all properties within the SVIS scheme.
Longer term, we'll be using Antenno for other types of notifications. The key is that the notifications you receive now and in future will always be relevant to you because they'll relate to a place, or, later on, a topic, that you care about. You'll also be able to train' Antenno in your preferences; for example, you may live in Renwick and have a rental property in Blenheim. You can indicate you're interested in hearing about water shutdowns in Renwick, but not for your Blenheim property.
