Access and Mobility

This is an advocacy group which endeavours to make changes to Marlborough's built environment and attitudes of the Marlborough community to facilitate easier access for all. The forum is made up of representatives of community organisations who represent and deal with accessibility issues.

Some of the areas of concern for the forum are regarding pavement issues, access to public facilities, access to health providers and other matters that touch the access and mobility community.

The group takes advice from Barrier Free NZ Trust and works across Council departments to research/consider information and determine appropriate action where required.
