Outward Bound - Ka Mahi Scholarship Programme
Outward Bound is based at Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds. The organisation offers courses that show people of all ages their full potential through outdoor challenge and adventure. Course objectives include self development and social development with a focus on values, the environment and service to the community. Participants learn through experience and take part in physical activities and adventures that challenge them mentally, emotionally and physically. Courses are tailored for various age ranges.
Outward Bound has a Community Partner programme which enables people to access a scholarship to help them attend a course. Through the Community Partner programme, they have scholarship funding for those aged 18 - 26 years old and for those aged 27 years.
