Once the Council has made a decision after considering the hearing panel decision, a public notice will be made, in addition to notice to submitters outlining this decision. This includes an ability to appeal the decision to the Environment Court, which is only available to submitters.
If there are no Environment Court appeals the amended RPMP will be affixed with the Common Seal of Council 15 working days after the date of public notice of the Plan being made. It is then that the amended RPMP becomes operative and replaces the current Regional Pest Management Plan.
