Temporary Road Closure - Blenheim Christmas Parade
On Saturday 14th December 2024 the following roads are to be closed to ordinary vehicle traffic for the purposes of Christmas Parade between 10am to 6pm
The streets involved are:
Christmas Parade - Sat 14th December 2024 between 10am to 6pm
- Road Closure - Henry Street from Alfred Street to John Street
- Road Closure - John Street from Henry Street to Hutchison Street
- Road Closure - Seymour Street from Alfred Street to John Street
All other streets, just rolling road closures between 2:30 – 5pm
- Hutchison St - Auckland St to Alfred St
- Alfred St – Hutcheson St to Seymour St
- Seymour St – Alfred St to High St
- High St – Seymour St to Queen St
- Queen St – High St to Maxwell Rd
- Maxwell Rd- Queen St to Market St South
- Market St South – Maxwell Rd to High St
- Market St North - High St to Alfred St
- Alfred St - Market St North to Hutcheson St
- Hutcheson St - Alfred St to John St
Side streets affected
- Charles Street: From Queen Street to Market Street.
- Arthur Street: From Queen Street to Market Street.
- George Street: No access to Queen Street.
- Scott Street: Closed at Kinross Street
- Wynen Street: No access to Market Street.
During the period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an Officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).
It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.
