Making of Regional Pest Management Plan 2024

Pursuant to section 77 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, the Marlborough District Council give public notice of an amendment to the Regional Pest Management Plan 2018 (the Plan).

The amendment to the Plan has been made to incorporate a new programme for pest conifers (wilding pines).

The amendment aligns with the aim of the National Wilding Conifer Management Strategy 2015 – 2030 that pest conifers are to be contained and reduced.

The commencement date of the amendment to the Plan is the 14 of October 2024.
