Around 2100 Marlborough youth were inspired about possible career pathways at the Future of Work Conference 2024 held recently.
Council again partnered with the Graeme Dingle Foundation to hold the event at Blenheim’s ASB Theatre.
Community Partnerships Advisor Jodie Griffiths said the programme involved inspiring speakers, opportunities for young people to ask questions and be involved with interactive workstations and displays from more than 40 industries. The conference concluded with an opportunity in the evening to connect with tertiary providers and universities.
