Breach of Air Quality Standard for PM10 in the Blenheim area

The Marlborough District Council in accordance with the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004 is giving notice pursuant Regulation 16 that on 20 May 2020 at Redwoodtown in Blenheim airshed, a measurement of 51.5mg.m-3 was recorded.
This is the first breach of the ambient standard for PM10 of 50mg.m-3 as a 24-hour average in a 12 month period.
Subsequently a second breach occurred on the 30 May 2020 with a recorded measurement of 60.1mg.m-3.
