Breach of Air Quality Standard for PM10 in the Blenheim area

The Marlborough District Council in accordance with the Resource Management (National Environmental Standards for Air Quality) Regulations 2004 is giving notice pursuant Regulation 16 that on 7 June 2018 at Redwoodtown in Blenheim Airshed, a measurement of 61.3mg.m-3 was recorded. This is the first breach of the ambient standard for PM10 of 50 mg.m-3 as a 24-hour average of 2018.
