Community Grants and Creative Communities open for applications
Are you part of a not-for-profit community group or involved in arts or cultural activities that benefit the people of Marlborough?
If so, now's the time to get your applications in for funding through the Marlborough District Council Community Grants Fund and the Creative Communities NZ Scheme.
The Council's Community Grants are for one-off funding for not-for-profit organisations providing essential services in the Marlborough community from a range of different sectors including: environment, heritage, sport and recreation, community welfare/social services, and arts and culture.
Community Partnerships Advisor Jodie Griffiths said the Council recognises the important contribution made by community organisations to the wellbeing of Marlborough and its residents.
That's why it makes funding available through grants such as these to help organisations benefit the wider community, she said.
The application period for the Community Grants closes at 5.00 pm on Monday 18 October.
