Awatere Valley Road under slip

Following this weekend’s wet weather a large under slip has developed on Awatere Valley Road, approximately 2km from Jordan Bridge. The road is open to one lane with a 30km temporary speed limit in place.
Assessments are underway at the site for repairs to be undertaken.
Drivers are urged to travel with caution and follow all traffic management signage at this site.
