Councillor Jamie Arbuckle, who served as a Marlborough District Councillor from 2010, has resigned to focus on his role as a New Zealand First MP in Parliament.
Mayor Nadine Taylor thanked him for his dedicated service at the full Council meeting on 31 October.
Mr Arbuckle served as chair of the Animal Control Sub-committee from 2013 and was chair of the Economic, Finance and Community Committee from 2022 to 2023.
