Proposed Temporary Road Closure – Picton Christmas Parade
On Sunday 1st Dec 2024 the following portions of the streets will be closed to ordinary vehicle traffic from 1:30 pm to 6:00 pm for the purpose of the Picton Christmas Parade.
- High St : Broadway to London Quay
- Waikawa Rd : High St to Wellington St
- Wellington St : Waikawa Rd to London Quay
- London Quay : Wellington St to Auckland St ( SH1)
- Broadway: Auckland St (SH1) to Wellington St
During the period of closure, ordinary vehicular traffic may use the road being closed between events under the supervision and authority of an Officer of the New Zealand Police (Traffic Safety Branch).
It will be an offence under the above regulations for any person other than under the authority of an authorised permit to use the road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the period of closure.
