Council has also prepared an information sheet, which accompanies your first rates notice each year. It outlines how rates are spent across the district.
You can see the amount and percentage of rates funding allocated to different activities such as, community facilities, roading and footpaths, sewerage, stormwater and regional development.
It also contains an outline of Council's rates remission and postponement policies (including for Māori freehold land).
