Fairhall Cemetery

Fairhall Cemetery is Marlborough's principal cemetery. Located in rural surroundings, the cemetery provides for traditional memorial burials, as well as a lawn cemetery, picturesque gardens for memorial ashes, family ashes beams, a commemorative stillborn area and an RSA section. A commemorative wall (plaque only - no interment), an Ashes Niche Wall, and the certified Natural Burial Area, mean that there is a memorial option to suit every preference.
Landscape development is ongoing with the use of local stone, suitable trees and visitor-friendly signage. With a backdrop of the Wither Hills and surrounded by vineyards, the cemetery's expansive lawns and established plantings give it an attractive, restful, park-like character. The cemetery is 10 to 15 minutes' drive from the centre of Blenheim, along New Renwick Road.
